How I still feel about AI

this video, I sit down and talk openly about something that’s been on my mind for a long time: AI is a tool. A powerful one, a creative one, and—when used responsibly—a fun one. It’s easy for people to fixate on the negatives, the horror stories, or the worst-case scenarios… but that’s only one side of the whole picture.
Here, I break down the positive side of AI—the stuff people forget or don’t bother talking about:
✨ Creative Applications
AI Music: from beats to full soundscapes, AI can spark new ideas or support your own creative flow.
AI Art: fun, expressive, and a great tool for visualizing concepts, characters, and “what if” worlds.
Responsible chatbot fun: yes, even the freaky stuff—handled responsibly and within limits.
🎲 Personal Projects You Can Build
Custom “what if” scenarios: entire alternate timelines, universes, and roleplay sessions.
Single-player tabletop worlds: running a campaign with you as the main character, with AI handling the DM side.
Worldbuilding tools: lore, characters, factions—anything you want to create exists at your fingertips.
🕹️ AI Games & Experiments
I highlight Whisper from the Stars, one of the first open-ended AI game experiences that truly lets you explore.I also mention things like:
Butterfly AI (even though it’s gotten more sanitized recently),
WebSim,
And future videos where I’ll dive deeper into the TV Player system I created with WebSim.
⚠️ A More Serious Note
I also talk about what happened with Character AI, and why some of the restrictions and changes were added—especially for younger users on the platform. It’s not always fun, but it’s part of understanding the bigger picture of AI safety, responsibility, and platform decisions.
💬 Final Thoughts
AI isn’t the enemy. It’s not something to fear or shame. It’s a tool—a versatile one that can create, explore, entertain, and inspire.People will misuse anything… but that doesn’t cancel out everything good that can come from it.
