Yeah... this wasn't the Nightlife video I expected to make.
I wanted to sit down and talk about the situation involving Pressure, Zeal, and Ren, because more information has come out since everything first exploded online. From everything I've seen, it appears the relationship between Zeal and Ren was consensual, and the situation became much more complicated after they stopped talking.
This video isn't about dogpiling anyone. It's about discussing consent, accountability, boundaries, misinformation, and how quickly internet drama can spiral out of control.
I also talk about something I've believed for a long time: if you're working on a creative project with people, don't date your project teammates unless you truly know each other outside of the project and have built a real relationship first. Mixing work and romance can get messy fast.
Update: After I finished recording, Ren stated that she doesn't regret what happened and considers it the product of his own actions. I briefly wanted to acknowledge that here since it wasn't included in the video.
