At the top of this post is a video where I talk about the rumored Netflix acquisition of Warner Bros. And here’s the honest truth: we don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Nobody does. Not me. Not you. Not Twitter. Not the YouTubers farming outrage. Not even the people I know who are actually in the industry—and that alone should tell you something.

Yet somehow, Twitter is already acting like the verdict is final. Endless arguing. Endless doomposting. Endless “experts” with a surface-level understanding of business screaming into the void like they can see the future. I’m tired of the grifters. I’m tired of the basic YouTube takes. I’m tired of people pretending confidence equals knowledge.

Arguing about this on social media isn’t going to make anything clearer. Attacking people who are cautiously optimistic—or even just not panicking—isn’t going to convert anyone to your side. It just makes you sound like a dick. I don’t care how you rationalize it. That’s how it comes off.

So let’s be real: we don’t know how this will go. And until we do, maybe shut the fuck up. Log off YouTube. Log off Twitter—no, I’m never calling it X. Touch some grass. Talk to an actual human being. Because doomscrolling, rage-watching grifters, and re-getting mad about the same rumor every hour isn’t insight. It’s just noise.

Let’s see how this plays out. Everything else is speculation.
